Arriving at the Tiber

We have finally reached the Tiber in all its glory, rapids, golden with sand and bursting out to sea. We streached out on the grass below and a banquet was consumed, using platters of bread on which to set the food we ate them to, thus fulfilling of the prophesy of Celaeno. We then made sacrafices to Jove in thanks for our arrival. We celebrated and relaxed the whole day, they have earned it.

Today we explored the area and the coast, where the hardy Latins make their home. I have just sent out 100 envoys to visit the city of  King Latinus, bearing an olive branch of Pallas wound in wool and many gifts for the great man to sue for peace fro all the Trojan people.

Finally we can start building our city. I am wary though as prophesy time and time again has told me of  the wars that must be fought. I am abouot to help organize and buld the camp, dig a trench to place our walls.  I am wary. but hopefull.
